Meet Beth

Founder & Trainer at Rascal K9s

My journey into dog training started with my own rescue Border Collie. Growing up with an anxious dog made me realise how much the right knowledge and support can change a dog's life — something that has stayed with me throughout my career.

After working in a doggy daycare, I returned to college to study for my HNC in Animal Care, followed by a year with Dogs Trust. I then spent two years working professionally as a dog trainer in Australia, gaining hands-on experience with puppies, obedience, loose-lead walking, reactivity and real-world training, as well as working closely with owners and running group classes.

Along the way, I've continued to learn through courses, seminars and working alongside experienced trainers, developing an approach that focuses on the individual dog, practical training and confident owners.

I don't believe there is one method that works for every dog. My aim is to give you clear, realistic guidance without overwhelming you, so you can understand your dog, feel confident handling them and build skills that work in everyday life.

Because training isn't just about changing the dog's behaviour — it's about giving both ends of the lead the tools to succeed.
